Saturday and Sunday 15 & 16 September 2018
Oxford University Museum of Natural History
Secretary: Catherine M. Jones (catherinemjones7@gmail.com)
The BWARS Committee invite all our members to join us at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th September for the BWARS member’s weekend including the AGM.
The BWARS members’ weekend is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people. It is mainly informal and informative, with the official business conducted on Sunday morning at the AGM.
On Saturday afternoon there will be workshops for members – the number of places is limited by the space allocated to us, and the number of microscopes available, so please book in advance.
On Sunday morning, the Officers of the Committee will give reports at the AGM covering the past year, the state of membership and the finances of the Society, and the members present will elect new officers. If there is any business that you would like to raise at the AGM, please contact the Secretary by 214th August, to allow time for them to be included in the agenda.
On Sunday afternoon there will be a variety of presentations
Please email the Secretary advising whether you would like to attend the workshops on Saturday 15th September, and/or the evening meal on Saturday 15th September and/or the AGM and presentations on Sunday 16th September.
Please note:
Booking is recommended for the workshops.
An area in a pub has been booked for Saturday evening to eat, and chat and drink. This is paid for on an individual basis and you are welcome to come along for drink.
You are responsible for finding your own accommodation.
As soon as the programme has been finalised it will be announced on the BWARS website.
The BWARS Committee look forward to seeing you at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th September for a great weekend.
