B ruderatus queens are often considerably larger than B hortorum
queens. Note also the more neatly "trimmed" look of the B. ruderatus
- the B. hortorum and B jonellus are scruffier looking. Also, B. ruderatus
often looks darker than B. hortorum/jonellus.
B. jonellus looks somewhat like a small, fluffy B. hortorum with
